• AgTech offers a broad range of map based solutions for your business. Our Business Geographics services include display and analysis of information such as sales territories, customer concentrations, resource locations and logistics, over any sized geographic region, as well as present them within a geographic viewer, as a PowerPoint presentation or PDF style report.
• Our most popular products are the creation of poster style maps and preparing maps for sales reps to use in their presentations. We can receive any type of GIS file.

Satellite Imagery Analysis

Satellite Imagery Analysis is a proven and efficient method to develop field level management zones for crop production.

• The Snapshot Analysis uses one image, chosen from available bare soil or in-crop sources. The user then confirms the zones against yield, soil or historical data. These zone maps are then provided in georeferenced format for use as a backdrop for crop scouting or soil sampling data collection. This package has been used extensively for pre-sidedress nitrogen testing.

 

The Mapping Center

 

•  AgTech GIS specializes in high volume mapping products for the agricultural industry. We receive files created by your in-field mapping software or from your service provider; import, store, merge and print a variety of products to your specifications, including variable rate application maps. We can output in digital or paper format and deliver them via a secure internet site for your convenience.
• Graphic output can include satellite imagery and road names as a background to your maps.Maps created for Nutrient Management Plans include rich detail, including waterways, vegetation, buildings and structures.
• When we are your production mapping facility your data is held in confidence, for your exclusive use. We create customized products to your specifications including your brand. We put a processing system in place for map conformity, consistency and accountability. Data is backed up regularly and file security is of prime concern.
• We maintain current software so that you have access to the most up to date technology. We operate nine different GIS software packages for the most extensive capability, including many equipment-specific utilities.We are able to import from and export  to virtually every agricultural equipment brand.
• We can print up to D size posters (24” x 48”) for reference, dispatch or promotions.We are able to assemble maps into PowerPoint presentations or assist in the design of brochures and other map based promotional materials. We can also provide files to your other service providers in industry compatible formats.When we are your mapping center you have access to our abilities to manage, analyze, present and communicate your data.

 

Consultation Services

Technology changes are fast paced and often overwhelming. When businesses need to take stock of their preparedness for the next wave of precision ag services, AgTech GIS will review their mapping software and map database. Recommendation reports will provide insights into possibilities for management to consider.

 

 

 

 

Variable Rate Application Mapping

AgTech GIS can create an application map for many different controller types according to your specifications.  $1 per acre, minimum $25 per file for prescription maps, $10 per Field for As Applied maps.

Requirements:
 

• E-mail complete instructions OR Agri-Food Laboratories Report Number, Crop and Target Yield Goal, including: Products to be applied, Units of application, Controller/software used. Provide Contact Name, e-mail and Phone number.
• AgTech GIS must have or receive by email your Boundary Files, Soil Test Files, or Management Zones in shapefile format before prescriptions will be created. Please leave ample planning time. Pre-season booking of your anticipated acres is advised.

Yield Mapping and Analysis

• Yield Data represents a report card for your crop management. What areas did well? Where is my best Area? Worst? How does this compare with last year?
• Through yield map analysis we can define areas of the field that perform differently. This opens opportunity for differentiated managment based on within-field variability.  Yield map analysis is an efficient method for determining management zones.
• Creating information for the farm manager is the true return on investment for precision ag equipment.
• Basic Package includes print or digital (PDF) copy of each field; yield points, yield zones map, elevations from GPS and moisture. $10 per field listed in Yield Monitor, plus $60 per season download-storage fee.
• Advanced Package includes Basic Package above plus Yield normalization, P205 and K20 removal maps. $20 per field plus $60 per season download-storage fee.
• Nitrogen Use Efficiency Maps (if nitrogen as applied data and VRN data supplied) can be added to any yield package. $10 per field.
• Customers who wish to have these services performed for them on their own software, so that it remains at their location; must be running current version of AgLeader SMS Basic for the Basic Package, Advanced for any other services. This service is available to Farm Works Site or Pro users.  Our standard hourly off-site fee and mileage fee will be applied.
